Sun Dragon’s Fall Make-a-Long is centered around the classic Nightshift shawl by Andrea Mowry, as well as all the styles based on the patternwork: the Shift cowl, Shiftalong Hat, and Shifty pullover. All of these patterns use the technique of mosaic knitting, where only one color is worked at a time, with a colorwork effect. Use color-changing yarns, and the effect multiplies! Our retreats cover everything above the basics of knit and purl stitches, great for adventurous begginers to experts: pick out some beautiful yarn and learn from the best.
This personalized experience includes daily morning classes on mosaic knitting and the basics of Mowry’s patterns in this series with Rebecca, as well as opportunities for personalized shopping experiences with the staff and class sessions on different topics in the afternoon.
