Come knit your first sweater with Rebecca! “The Boss” Rebecca is world famous for her assistance videos on many patterns and skills on YouTube- come to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and share in the experience with her! Three days of processing a great top-down, raglan sleeve (don’t worry, all those terms will be explained!) pattern, and you will leave confident you can complete the second one on your own!
The Flax by Tin Can Knits is a great pattern for mastering the concepts of a knit sweater, with easy to follow instructions and simple shaping. There are versions of the pattern in worsted weight, DK weight and Fingering weight (middle thickness to fairly thin), so you can pick the one you’d like to try, and the pattern is fairly size inclusive, from baby sizes up to 6XL (70” finished chest measurement).
This personalized experience includes daily morning classes on the retreat topic with Rebecca, as well as opportunities for personalized shopping experiences with the staff and class sessions on different topics in the afternoon.
Retreat fee includes instruction, continental breakfast and catered lunch on all 3 days of the retreat, 15% off purchases at Sun Dragon during the retreat. Attendees are responsible for travel, lodging, and dinner expenses.
