$85 for 2 classes, February 14 & March 14th, 10:30 am. All Saturday classes are advanced beginner, which means already knowing basic knowledge of the craft (knit, purl, casting on). Classes include instruction only unless otherwise noted, supplies must be purchased separately.

The Bankhead is a great straightforward medium weight hat, for beginners and those with experience. The first class will go over the basics of the pattern, as well as getting you started on the hat (joining in the round, ribbing, etc). Class 2 will cover how to navigate the decreases at the crown (top) of the hat, and how to finish it off. Soon you will be ready to tackle any hat!

• Approximately 200 yards of worsted weight yarn, less depending on size.

• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needles, 16 inch

• Needles for “small circumference knitting” at the top: double points or a longer circular. We will go over this skill/options at the first class, and use them at the second.
