Many pattern makers and publishers are moving online to release their work instead of publishing in a book or magazine. Why pay for a dozen patterns when you only need one? Ravelry.com is the industry standard for finding a pattern online: it’s free to sign up, and you have access to hundreds of free and pay patterns. Ravelry can sometime be overwhelming, we often joke about “going down the rabbit hole” while looking for a pattern. This class will be an introductory course to finding a pattern on Ravelry and many of the tools and benefits Ravelry can offer to you. Bring your laptops or mobile devices and your questions! If you don’t have a portable device to look at Ravelry on, you can practice on the shop computers.
