Toe-up Two-at-a-time socks, Part 1 (Advanced): $45, 2 weeks

Socks are a great gift, for a loved one or to yourself! Many find the challenge of turning the heel or sizing the socks correctly to be a challenge, and then when you finish one there is still a second to make! The solution? Toe-up two-at-a-time socks. This pattern leads you through shaping the toe, and once you learn that, you know how to do the heel! By making them both at the same time, you are guaranteed they will come out the same size, and you can try them on as you go to ensure they fit!

This pattern uses "short row" techniques, and if you are not familiar with that we will show you two ways to do this, "wrap and turn" and German short rows.

The class is a two-parter on consecutive Saturdays, if you cannot attend one of the weeks we can arrange another time, payment expected at the first class.

Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon):

  • Sock/fingering weight yarn, approximately 400 yards
  • Circular needles at least 32" (preferably 40") long, size 1 or 2
  • Stitch Markers

If you can't make this time, please contact me to arrange a lesson at another time.
