Wow, what a year and a half!

I started this blog category as a way to keep those of you not on social media updated on what was going on with the shop and my ongoing projects, and underestimated how much free time I would have as a first-time small business owner! My apologies this spot has been blank for so long, 2019 is the year for me to work on fully engage with my website and you all! I’ll do my best to post new fun things happening at the shop and projects we are working on, as well as look back at all the fun things we’ve done in the 18 months since I opened. We have a wonderful loving community here at Sun Dragon, and I’ll be working to share some of that as well.

To kick us off, below is the crochet blanket that is our class this weekend, I’m on row 35 of a minimum 42 row blanket. Its been tons of fun to try out a few new techniques. While I’m using up an alpaca braid (200 yards of 5 fingering weight colors meant to coordinate, I was originally a small way into a knit scarf that I repurposed), this is a great pattern for using up your stash yarn in any weight. The pattern is Squared Lost in Time by Mijo Crochet, there is also a free shawl version Lost in Time. The class is Saturday February 16 at 2 pm.
